Catholic Schools Inspection (Section 48)

As a Catholic academy, St Ignatius is inspected regularly by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate on behalf of the Diocese of Leeds. This inspection (often called a “Section 48” inspection) looks at Catholic life and mission, religious education and collective worship.

Our most recent inspection took place on 25–26 June 2025, and the school was graded ‘Outstanding’.
