Catholic Life Staff Induction Programme
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
At St Ignatius, we are committed to fostering a deep understanding of our Catholic ethos among all staff, including those who are new to Catholic education or from non-Catholic backgrounds. Our Catholic Life Induction Programme provides a structured and supportive introduction to the principles, traditions, and mission that underpin our school community.
We use a combination of resources from the Catholic Foundation Stones and the Sycamore Programme to deliver engaging and informative sessions. These materials offer accessible insights into Catholic teaching, liturgy, scripture, and values, helping staff to confidently participate in the spiritual life of the school.
Through this programme, we aim to nurture a shared sense of purpose and belonging, ensuring that all staff—regardless of their background—feel equipped to contribute to the school’s Catholic mission in a meaningful way.
