Class 5 have been learning about types of pressure in social and academic situations. We hope to learn more this half term about strategies which we can adopt to resist negative types of pressure, that some pressure can be good for us and ways to identify the differences.
This week Class 5 have worked hard to design and create artwork inspired by abstract expressionist Peter Thorpe. Wow!
All the children in school have enjoyed a variety of fun activities today to mark World Book Day! It was lovely to be able to dress up and spend the day celebrating books together!

This term, Class 5 have been improving their drawing skills. We have worked hard at developing our tone, depth and ability to draw portraits and objects accurately.
For anti-bullying week this year, Class 5 learnt and performed poetry!
To mark Armistice Day, the children across Key Stage Two worked hard on different pieces of art, writing and poetry. We will remember them.
We have spent lots of time across school developing our reading areas in Key Stage 1 and 2 and inside classrooms! We hope the children (and staff!) enjoy these areas.
