World Thinking Day

I have been approached by Alison Hartley, Brownie Leader in Ossett and the division commissioner for Wakefield North, asking if members of girl guiding and scouting could wear their uniforms to school on World Thinking Day (February 22nd)

It is a very special day in both organisations as it helps members celebrate their involvement in the largest worldwide youth organisations and also helps them to recognise and support fellow members who are less fortunate than themselves.

If you are a member of Rainbows, Brownies, Girl Guides or Beavers, Cubs or Scouts and would like to wear your uniform on Wednesday 22nd February, then you are welcome to do so. Be prepared to tell us about World Thinking Day/ Founder’s Day.

Parents’ Evening Bookings

Text and emails to make an on-line appointment for Parents’ Evenings (7th/ 8th Mach) will be sent out the first week back after half-term.

Parents of pupils with SEND will be contacted separately about their appointment.

Uniform

Please take the opportunity over the half-term break to ensure that your child has full school uniform, PE kit and in KS2 a pair of pumps for indoors. Also, that it is named.

Best wishes for a lovely half-term break

Mrs Rush
